What's the best way to get started using a slow cooker? - hamilton beach slow cooker

I recently completed a 6-liter pot, and comes with some recipes, I would try to use some ideas and good recipes like already! I cook well, but not luxurious ...
I would appreciate your advice on the use and the revenues that could help me. It is a Hamilton Beach has a large MED-base configuration, removable pot.

I love my Crock Pot / Slow Cooker. Here are my personal recipes. All are enjoying very good and easy! I would use the parameters of the low and high, as can burn it.


Chicken Mushroom

4 or boneless bone-in chicken breasts
1 of the fungus cream
1-8 ml container of sour cream (regular or light)
Jerez 2 / 3 cup
1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 teaspoon salt, garlic
Pepper to taste


Mix everything but give chicken in a bowl. Pour half the sauce in a saucepan. Add chicken and cover with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.


Serving suggestion: Potatoes with gravy, a sauce or red potatoes, vegetables and rolls of Hawaii pureed. Is that possible in a clay pot. Add the sauce to the pan then add chicken, cover with remaining sauce. Simmer for 3-4 hours.



Chicken and Dumplings

1 whole chicken
1 bay leaf
2 v. Tea garlic salt
6 black peppercorns
6 cups water
1 cup carrots
1 package biscuits refrigerator (10 to 12)


Put the chicken in the crock pot and add everything except carrots. Simmer for about 8-10 hours. Choose chicken and remove bones. Pour the sauce you put into the pot on the stove and heat to boiling. Carrots and cook for 30 minutes. Link broth with cornstarch or flour mixed with cold water. Tear refrigerator biscuits 3-4 pieces each and drop into boiling water, reduce heat and covered. Simmer for about 5 minutes, until cookies puff. Add chicken and carrots, stir and serve.



Savory Roast Beef

3.4 kilos of roast
1 of the fungus cream
Steak sauce 3 TB (Optional)
1 Water
1 package of dry soup, Lipton onion mixture

Cut pork into 1-inch cubes. Place in Crock-Pot and top with all the other ingredients. Simmer for 8-10 hours. Remove with slotted spoon and remove on a baking sheet and roast until lightly brown on top. Serves about 10 Serve with corn tortillas and pico de gallo or salsa.



Chile Verde (pork in green sauce)

4 pounds pork roast (butt or shoulder bone), cut into pieces
1 large can Ortega chopped green chilies
1 small can Ortega chopped jalapenos


Place pork roast in a clay pot. Add peppers and jalapenos, but no water. Cook high for 8-10 hours. Serve with flour tortillas, beans and Mexican rice.


Peas, ham, sausage and soup

12 ounces peas
2 -14 ounces canned beefor chicken broth
16 oz Kielbasa or polish sausage, finely chopped
1 cup ham
1 cup carrots
1 onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper to taste


Put peas, broth, ham, carrots, onion, bay leaf and seasonings in crock-pot.
Brown sausage in a pan and add the electric stove. Fill a 2-cover "to the top with water, and cook over low heat for 10 hours or high for 5 hours. Thicken, remove the lid the last hour, or add cornstarch mixed with cold water to soup. Remove the bay leaf. Serve corn bread with butter and honey.

* You can mix barbecue sauce in juice 1 cup cream, 1 c. Convert Complete tea. Cornstarch mixed with it, premixed.
