You'll love it! The nearest place on the continent that could even compare to Hawaii to approach! We must "hang personality" cowardly and the beautiful water and sand (just pay attention to Red Tide, I think that gives you more during the storm season. I saw him twice) on the TRIPS Agreement in July. There remains a great place. If you are older than 21 years and enjoy a great beach is the perfect place for you. Personally, I am still in the village (only partly because my friend has a house there now). Crescent Beach is a little (very far) from the village, but if you want, close to the action of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, public beach (although generally landed north of the public a little more peace and quiet spot in the sun, There was much to make public in the afternoon and evening. a lot of animation, live bands in local bars and restaurants, ice cream parlor, Nice, small shops and other auto parts, rue de la siesta (another area of restaurants, shops, etc .). I stayed at the hotel in the city (formerly Best Western, not sure if s' acts of a BestHowever, West) is literally in the village with restaurants, shops and some associated noise. The hotel was very reasonable to believe in (not like at all) that most of the rooms have a kitchenette. and separate lounge. I stayed at Tropical Breeze Resort / Inn, which is not really a complex (not all in some way), but very pleasant. The apartments have several areas of the unit is rented throughout the district. I loved when the mine not only in the village, but near the village of pleasure (maybe 6 blocks away) at the end of the village. Keep your car with you if you check, the office, where you do not keep your input in the same place and obviously do not want to carry your luggage to your room / unit. I was very pleased with my room, king-size bed, kitchen and living room, next to the pool and a laundry service is not happy (but busy) and found it (very clean and I applied early and put my luggage in my room on the beach in front and waiting room while I was on SOAThe Sun King)! Go to the grocery store at the north end of town and enjoy the fresh fruit and sandwiches to keep a cool head in the refrigerator.
To get a car, depends on the duration of your stay if you go to Sarasota for every conversation plan. He had a car for the 1st Time) I only rented a taxi from the use of the airport (not 20 minutes, 30 +-dollars (including tip) cheaper to rent but less than a week. You do not need a car for the majority (I'm going more places, but my friend who lives there), a car, you can rent if you have decided to explore other village and trams. Wow that was long, I think I really love Siesta Key! Enjoy!
